Sonoma County, California Preparing For Developmental Center Closure With RFP For Community-Based Primary Care For Residents
On July 11, 2016, Sonoma County, California, Department of Health Services released a request for proposals (RFP SC001-0000000349) seeking one or more Federally Qualified Health Care Centers (FQHC) to provide medical, dental and behavioral health services to county residents with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD). The FQHCs will serve former Sonoma Developmental Center residents, current consumers served by the North Bay Regional Center, and other regional centers, as well as other county residents with I/DD. Proposals are due by August 26, 2016. The county will give preference to proposals from existing FQHCs.
