21 Skilled Nursing Facilities Put In Receivership In Kansas Over Past Six Months
Since the beginning of 2018, the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) has put 21 skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) into receivership due to fiscal insolvency or serious deficiencies in care. The SNFs are located across the state; 18 were owned by out-of-state companies.
On September 12, 2018, KDADS took over 90-bed Westview of Derby, and appointed Walnut Creek Management as manager.
