Seven Wisconsin Health Care Systems Partner Launch ‘abouthealth’ Network
Seven Wisconsin health care systems have banded together to form “abouthealth,” a statewide provider organization network. The abouthealth partnership launched on August 6, 2014, with six founding members: Aspirus, Aurora Health Care, Bellin Health, Gundersen Health System, ThedaCare, and UW Health. On September 30, 2014, ProHealth Care joined the partnership.
The abouthealth partnership is led by ThedaCare executive vice president Greg Devine, as president and chief executive officer. The partnership network includes 47 hospitals and over 6,000 physicians; together the abouthealth partners serve 90% of Wisconsin residents.
