School Health Start Up Hazel Health Raises $33.5 Million In Venture Funding Round With Bain Capital, Owl Ventures & Centene
In a recent venture funding round, Hazel Health, which provides telehealth primary care and behavioral health school services to low-income students, raised $33.5 million from Bain Capital, Owl Ventures, and Centene. With this new investment, Hazel Health is preparing to expand its services fivefold during the fall of 2020. It is set to offer telemedicine services in school districts with about 1.5 million children enrolled. Additionally, Hazel Health has recently expanded to provide in-home telemedicine services through a new product line called Hazel at Home.
