San Diego County, California, is preparing to launch its Med-Cal Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) for addiction treatment by July 1, 2018. The DMC-ODS covers a continuum of services, including residential treatment, based upon the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria for substance use disorder treatment services.
