San Diego County Creates Pilot Program To Improve Foster Youth Graduation Rates
San Diego County is testing a new approach to improve high school graduation rates for foster youth. For the upcoming school year, the county is starting a three-year pilot program called Fostering Academic Success in Education (FASE). To launch the pilot, the county Office of Education partnered with the Sweetwater Union High School District. The San Diego County Board of Supervisors approved the pilot program on June 23, 2020.
