San Bernardino County To Replace Its 22-Year-Old Behavioral Health Information System
On July 5, 2016, the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) in San Bernardino County, California released a request for proposals (RFP BDBHE16-DBHE16-1972) seeking a contractor to replace the county’s 22-year-old behavioral health services management information system (BHMIS). The goal is to implement a system that contains or is integrated with a certified electronic health record (EHR) system and improve technological efficiencies that will allow DBH to meet changing state requirements. Proposals are due by August 22, 2016; the resulting five-year contract is slated to begin on December 20, 2016.
