On December 11, 2019, PursueCare announced the launch of new telehealth addiction treatment programs for rural populations in Kentucky and in West Virginia. The programs provide telehealth counseling via a smartphone app and medication-assisted treatment. The purpose is to transition consumers with opioid use disorder (OUD) from emergency departments and rural health clinics into treatment at home.
