PHI Launches Home Health Rural Workforce Pilot In Minnesota & Wisconsin

Paraprofessional Healthcare Institute (PHI), a research and consulting organization focused on the direct care workforce, is conducting a rural workforce pilot program with provider organizations in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The goals of the pilots are to increase access to home care, improve the quality of care, and improve communications to coordinate care in rural areas.

In Minnesota, three provider organizations—Accra, Benedictine Health System, and Knute Nelson—were chosen to participate. In Wisconsin, two provider organizations— Community Living Alliance and Lori Knapp Companies — were chosen to participate. The participating provider organizations will test the following interventions:
