People Diagnosed With Schizophrenia Use Digital Technology At Same Rate As General Population

About 90% of individuals with schizophrenia who responded to an online digital technology survey said they owned more than one digital device such as a personal computer, tablet, smartphone, mobile phone without applications or Internet, or a landline telephone. About 61% reported having two devices. About 54% had access to smartphones compared to 64% of all Americans. Many of those with digital devices said they used them to manage various facets of their illness.
