Health Partners Plans Shows Positive Outcomes From “Food As Medicine’ Nutrition Program

On February 28, 2018, Health Partners Plans (HPP), a not-for-profit health plan in Pennsylvania, released a "call to action" report on positive outcomes resulting from a partnership with the Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA). MANNA is a Philadelphia non-profit organization whose goal is to bring food to those in the area who have serious diseases.
