Pennsylvania Proposes New I/DD Waiver Services To Enhance Community Participation Supports

The Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) plans to enhance its two Medicaid 1915(c) home- and community-based services (HCBS) waivers for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) with new covered services for community participation supports. Both 1915(c) waivers, the Consolidated waiver and the Person and Family Directed Support (P/FDS) waiver, already cover a variety of HCBS that promote community living, including self-directed service models and traditional, agency-based service models. To align with the new focus on community supports, ODP has updated the waivers to include nine new services and made some terminology . . .
