On February 27, 2015, the new Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced a "Senior Initiative" to improve home- and community-based services (HCBS); one of the provisions calls for phasing in Medicaid managed long-term services and supports (LTSS) within three years. The Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Department of Aging (PDA) will partner to pursue the implementation of Medicaid managed LTSS.
