Oregon To Move To Regional Governance For Medicaid/Non-Medicaid Behavioral Health Services
On March 29, 2017, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) announced plans to move to a regional governance model for Medicaid and non-Medicaid behavioral health services in order to support coordinated care. Under this model, each region will have a single point of shared responsibility for all entities that provide behavioral health services, including community mental health organizations, hospitals, law enforcement, school, and physical health care provider organizations.
