Oklahoma Preparing To Move To Medicaid Managed Care, RFP Slated For Fall 2020
The Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) plans to release a request for proposals (RFP) in the fall of 2020 for the state’s Medicaid program, SoonerCare, seeking proposals from qualified managed care organizations (MCOs) to manage physical health, behavioral health, vision, and non-emergency medical transportation. The SoonerCare system is currently financed through a fee-for-service (FFS) primary care case management program (PCCM) called SoonerCare Choice—and OHCA administers the plan without contracted health plans.
