Oklahoma Launches Child Welfare Predictive Analytics Pilot
On June 23, 2016, the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) announced it was piloting a child safety predictive analytics tool called Eckerd Rapid Safety Feedback (ERSF). The pilot is taking place in Oklahoma County. The pilot began in January 2016. The Eckerd tool is used to analyze child welfare data to assess children at serious risk of abuse or neglect in open child welfare cases. The goal is to help OKDHS child welfare workers identify high risk families and develop safety plans to lessen the risks.
