On September 2, 2020, the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) announced it was adding services for 270 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) currently on the waiting list. The new slots are possible due to legislation, Senate Bill (SB) 1932, that directed an additional $1.9 million to be invested in the Developmental Disabilities waiting list.
