Ohio Medicaid Moving Community Mental Health & Addiction Treatment To Managed Care On July 1, 2018
On July 1, 2018, Ohio’s Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) will be responsible for community mental health and addiction treatment services for Medicaid members. For Medicaid beneficiaries not enrolled in a Medicaid managed care plan, behavioral health services will be covered through the fee-for-service system (FFS). About 90% of beneficiaries are enrolled in managed care.
