Ohio Enacts Criteria For Addiction Recovery Housing

On June 16, 2014, Ohio Governor John Kasich signed legislation enacting criteria for addiction recovery housing that define the service and the state expectations for contracted provider organizations. The new criteria were included in House Bill (HB) 483 the Mid-Biennium Review (MBR) appropriations bill, which also provided $5 million in funding for about 400 recovery housing beds.
