Ohio DODD Announces COVID-19 Relief Payment To Waiver Residential Provider Organizations
On August 28, 2020, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved a request from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) to make coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency relief payments available to agency and independent professionals providing home- and community-based services (HCBS) to waiver participants. The eligible HCBS include: Homemaker/Personal Care (HPC) including On-Site/On-Call (OSOC), Participant-Directed Homemaker/Personal Care (PD/HPC), and Shared Living.
