NQF Endorses 17 Measures Related To Behavioral Health
On March 9, 2015, the National Quality Forum (NQF) announced it had endorsed 17 health care quality measures related to behavioral health conditions. Nine of the newly endorsed measures reflect diabetes and cardiovascular risk reduction for the high-risk subpopulation of people with serious mental illness (SMI). Of the 17 endorsed measures, 12 are new and five are previously endorsed measures. NQF will accept appeals through April 7, 2015.
