North Dakota Rebids Medicaid Managed Care Contract, Adding HCBS For Behavioral Health Conditions
On October 20, 2020, the North Dakota Department of Human Services (DHS) released a request for proposals (RFP 325-20-415-050) to rebid its Medicaid managed care organization (MCO) contract for the Medicaid expansion population. The RFP includes new services through the state’s pending 1915(i) state plan amendment application that will add coverage of additional home and community-based services (HCBS) to support individuals with behavioral health conditions.
The state expanded Medicaid in 2014 to include low-income, uninsured adults ages 19 to 64 who are not otherwise eligible for Medicaid. Sanford Health Plan is the incumbent . . .
