Non-Profit Health & Human Service Provider Organizations Report Service Fees Are 50% Of Current Funding
About 49% of revenue reported by non-profit organizations in the health and human services (HHS) sector comes from delivering services. Another 30% of revenue for non-profit HHS provider organizations is through government grants. Just 4.6% of revenue is through donations from individuals, unlike other non-profit charities, which receive 32.7% of revenue through individual donations. The balance of revenue comes through sources that each account for 8.5% to 0.4% of income from channels such as corporate contributions, investments, foundation grants, fundraising, membership dues, conferences or meeting hosting, and publications.
