Newborn Opioid Withdrawal Best Practices Requires A ‘Cascade Of Care’
Treating neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) requires a “cascade of care.” That was the description of the array of services needed by infant and mother from a panel of experts—services including prevention; prenatal care, including drug treatment; labor and delivery; and aftercare.
