New York Medicaid Releases RFQ For Adult Behavioral Health Benefit Plans Outside New York City
On July 3, 2015, the New York State Department of Health (DOH) released a request for qualifications (RFQ) to provide the full continuum of behavioral health services to adults. Only the current mainstream Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) operating outside of New York City are eligible to respond to the RFQ. Mainstream MCOs are New York’s name for health plans that provide services to individuals not requiring long-term services and supports.
