Washington State DCYF Considering An Integrated Tracking System Combining Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice & Early Intervention
The new Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is considering a recommendation that it construct an integrated administrative data system to track its newly combined child welfare, juvenile justice, and early intervention populations. DCYF is a cabinet-level agency focused on improving outcomes for children, youth, and families. By integrating its data systems across all DCYF operations, the system could facilitate linkages across service areas.
