New Jersey Medicaid Launches Managed Long-Term Services & Supports Program
On July 1, 2014, New Jersey Medicaid launched its Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) program. Beneficiaries participating in home-and community-based services (HCBS) waiver programs through their current Medicaid NJ FamilyCare managed care organization (MCO) were auto-enrolled in MLTSS. The affected programs are the Global Options for Long-Term Care (GO); the AIDS Community Care Alternatives Program (ACCAP); Community Resources for People with Disabilities (CRPD); and the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Waiver. Medicaid beneficiaries currently living in a nursing home for custodial care are excluded from MLTSS; they will remain in fee-for-service Medicaid. Medicaid . . .
