New Hampshire Expands Medicaid Managed Care Contracts To Enroll Individuals With Developmental Disabilities

On September 1, 2015, New Hampshire Medicaid began preparing to transition people with developmental disabilities, and several other fee-for-service (FFS) populations that were previously exempted from mandatory enrollment, into managed care. The two Medicaid Care Management (MCM) organizations—N.H. Healthy Families and Well Sense Health Plan—will enroll children in the foster care system, children with severe disabilities, individuals with developmental disabilities, and people eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid.
