Opioid Addiction Diagnosis Increases Nearly 500% Among Commercially Insured Population
Between 2010 and 2016, opioid addiction diagnoses increased by 493% among commercially insured individuals. During the same period for the commercially insured population, the use of medication-assisted addiction treatment (MAT) increased by 65%.
