North Dakota Launches Behavioral Health Treatment Program For Justice-Involved Individuals With Reimbursement Linked To Outcomes
On January 22, 2018, the North Dakota Department of Human Services (DHS) Behavioral Health Division and the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCR) announced that Free Through Recovery, a performance-based addiction recovery support and care coordination program, will go live the first week of February 2018. The program is intended for adults with an addiction disorder and/or a serious mental illness who are at-risk of incarceration, or who were recently released from incarceration. DHS expects that approximately 6,500 people across the state will participate in the program.
