On July 15, 2015, the Behavioral Health Division (BHD) of the Milwaukee County, Wisconsin government released a request for proposals (RFP # 2015-RFP-BHD-1000) seeking psychiatric emergency department, observation, and inpatient care services for the county’s public behavioral health system.  The acute inpatient services sought are currently delivered by the county-run Milwaukee Mental Health Complex facility, which the county intends to close.
