Michigan Medicaid Picks Regional Pilot Organizations For Coordinated Behavioral & Physical Health Services

On March 9, 2018, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) announced it had selected three community mental health services provider organizations to pilot coordinated physical and behavioral health services. The organizations are: Genesee Health System; Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority; and a joint pilot to be conducted by Muskegon County Community Mental Health (HealthWest) and West Michigan Community Mental Health. MDHHS anticipates that the pilots will be implemented by October 1, 2018.
