Michigan Medicaid Expands CareConnect360 To Youth In Foster Care
On April 27, 2017, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) announced expansion of its Medicaid CareConnect360 initiative to include the nearly 13,000 youth in foster care. CareConnect360 is a care management tool and Internet portal that the state Medicaid health plans can use to access integrated physical and behavioral health-related information – along with other human services information about Medicaid beneficiaries. Under the expansion, MDHHS foster care workers and supervisors now have access to the CareConnect360 physical and behavioral health information.
