Maine Rebidding Youth Peer Support Contract
The Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) is rebidding its youth peer support statewide network (YPSSN) contract. The network is intended to provide youth ages 14 to 26 with peer-guided services to support them with their mental health, life concerns, and challenges with serious emotional disturbance (SED) or serious mental illness (SMI). The services are for youth who are uninsured or youth whose insurance does not cover peer services. Through supportive education groups and one-to-one support, the peers promote recovery, resilience, and improved well-being in multiple domains . . .
