Louisiana Selects FMLASource, A Unit of ComPsych, To Manage Employee Leave Benefits For Nine Agencies

On August 5, 2015, the Louisiana Office of State Human Capital Management announced it had contracted with FMLASource, a subsidiary of ComPsych Corporation, to administer Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) benefits for nine state agencies within the Governor’s Executive Cabinet. The initial one-year contract term is valued at $497,000, followed by two optional one-year renewal periods. By outsourcing FMLA administration, Louisiana anticipates cost savings of $5.2 million during fiscal year 2016 because it eliminates the need for each department and division to have its own FMLA management.
