Louisiana To Delay Privatizing Medicaid Long-Term Services & Supports
The Louisiana Department of Health and Human Services (DHH) has decided to delay the privatization of Medicaid managed long-term services and supports (LTSS), citing concerns with the changing governor’s administration. Specifically, DHH Secretary Kathy Kliebert said on Wednesday August 19, 2015, “We did not think we could get all the (federal) approvals and get the contract in place prior to a new administration.
