Los Angeles Preparing To Overhaul Office Of Public Guardian For People With Mental Disabilities
Los Angeles County, California is considering changes to how its Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) operates so that it can better ensure that people under public guardianship receive better representation. The changes are intended to reduce caseloads, which currently average about 150 per month.
