On March 27, 2020, Kansas awarded its next correctional health care contract to Centurion of Kansas, LLC, a Centene subsidiary, replacing the incumbent Corizon, LLC. Centurion was awarded a two-year full-risk contract to provide comprehensive health care services in the Department of Corrections' (KDOC) facilities.
