Kansas DOC Awards Two-Year Prison Health Care Contract To Centene
On March 27, 2020, Kansas awarded its next correctional health care contract to Centurion of Kansas, LLC, a Centene subsidiary, replacing the incumbent Corizon, LLC. Centurion was awarded a two-year full-risk contract to provide comprehensive health care services in the Department of Corrections' (KDOC) facilities. The contract is expected to commence on July 1, 2020 and run through June 30, 2022, followed by two additional two-year renewal periods.
