On November 19, 2018, the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) announced it had awarded a contract to Five Points Technology Group, Inc. to provide services for its Placement Matching System initiative. The Placement Matching System will provide a real-time database of every licensed foster home or residential bed in the state, regardless of which Child Placing Agency (CPA) sponsors the home. The system will capture placement abilities and characteristics of each home and residential bed, and will provide placement data/information concerning every foster home, group home, residential center, relative placement, and non-relative kinship (NRKIN) placement . . .
