Kaiser Permanente In California Recruiting 350+ Mental Health Therapists By End Of Year
On September 16, 2015, Kaiser Permanente of California announced it was recruiting to fill 354 more mental health professional positions by the end December 2015 in a continuation of a hiring initiative that started in January 2011. Approximately 100 of the 354 open positions are for psychiatrists.
Since the initiative began, Kaiser Permanente has filled 497 non-psychiatrist mental health therapist positions to serve its California members. The new positions represent a 45% increase, from 1,097 in January 2011, to 1,594 as of June 2015. In its designation “therapists,” Kaiser Permanente includes a variety of professionals such as . . .
