On April 14, 2016, Integra Community Care Network, LLC, (Integra) and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Rhode Island announced that they launched a Medicaid accountable care organization (ACO). UnitedHealthcare is collaborating with physician groups as part of the State of Rhode Island’s three-year Medicaid Accountable Entities (AE) pilot to improve coordination of care for Medicaid beneficiaries.
