Indiana Launches Voucher-Based Behavioral Health Program For Uninsured Offenders With Mental Illness Or Addiction Disorder
On November 1, 2015, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) launched Recovery Works, a statewide voucher-based specialty behavioral health program for uninsured felony offenders with mental illness or substance use disorder. Treatment and/or recovery services are intended to supplement community supervision strategies to decrease recidivism rates.
