Top Recruiting Targets Of Rural Behavioral Health Provider Organizations – Occupational Therapists, Pharmacists & Nurse Practitioners
A survey of rural behavioral health provider organizations found that the top recruiting targets for these organizations were occupational therapists (92.3% of the organizations), pharmacists (87.5% of the organizations), and advanced practice nurse practitioners (83.9% of the organizations), assuming that the organizations had sufficient budget funding to meet all their behavioral workforce needs. Pharmacists and occupational therapists were among the least common professionals on staff at the surveyed organizations.
