Half Of Consumers With Chronic Health Conditions Find Remote Monitoring Devices At Home Useful
About 50% of consumers with chronic health conditions say an in-home medical device that collects and sends vital sign data to the consumer’s health care professional would be helpful. About 58% said it would be even more helpful if the device allowed for additional communication with a health care professional.
These findings were reported in “Strengthening Chronic Care,” by researchers with West’s Engagement Center Solutions, which helps health care provider organizations activate and engage consumers beyond clinical settings.
