Georgia Awards $10 Million Annual Parolee Recovery Services Contract To Spectrum Health
On July 1, 2014, Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. started an addiction treatment contract with the Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles (SBPP). Spectrum Health Systems provides alcohol and other drug recovery services for about 8,000 offenders through outpatient services for parolees and a prison-based intensive treatment program. The initial contract period, valued at $1.0 million, runs through June 30, 2015; it is followed by four one-year renewal options.
