Financial Challenges Due To COVID-19 Put One-Third Of Charities At Risk Of Closure Within 12 Months
One-third of 414 worldwide charities surveyed in early June 2020 say that financial challenges due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) global pandemic will force their organizations to close within the next 12 months. About 31.8% are unable to determine how long they can remain open under current conditions. However, approximately 36.5% are confident they can remain open for as long as needed. Overall, 367 organizations say they can persevere for the following length of time under current conditions:
