On April 9, 2020, Disability Rights New York (DRNY) sued Governor Andrew Cuomo for failing to designate congregate care settings for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) as priority recipients of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent spread of COVID-19.
