CommonPass, COVID-19 Digital Passport, Launched For International Travelers

On October 7, 2020, the Commons Project Foundation and the World Economic Forum announced the launch of an international trial for CommonPass, a standardized digital health pass that allows travelers arriving at their destinations to share their results on coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) tests taken prior to departure. Cathay Pacific Airways and United Airlines are testing system in October with select volunteers on flights between London, New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore, with government authorities observing.
