Dane County, Wisconsin To Launch Universal Access Resource Call Center For Behavioral Health
On November 18, 2019, the Dane County, Wisconsin government proposed launching a behavioral health-focused “Universal Access Resource Center” by early summer 2020. The mission of the call center is to improve behavioral health access by providing a single point of contact for consumers through which to obtain services from private or public behavioral health provider organizations. The call center will be run by county staff. The center is based on the model used by the Dane County Aging and Disability Resource Center, which links older adults and those with disabilities to available community resources.
