Connecticut Work Group Recommends Bundled Payments For Children With Developmental Disabilities
A working group in the state of Connecticut has made the recommendation that the Connecticut Medicaid program should consider implementing bundled payments as a strategy to improve care coordination for children with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD). The group also recommended a memorandum of agreement (MOA) revision to assure that these children are not denied access to care, an interagency leadership cabinet to support these children, and offer school districts additional support capacity to meet the needs of these children.
